{A chocolate treat}
Oh, Friday, I am so happy to see you and the promise of the weekend.
It's been a draining week with a teething, restlessly sleeping baby, among other things, so this weekend comes not a day too soon.
I must share our new fav chocolate-y dessert. It's different, I must warn you, but an unexpected deliciousness awaits you if you can get past the actual ingredients.
It's really best if you don't think about what it is you're actually eating.
And if you serve it to guests, let them in on the secret ingredient after they've tasted and given their compliments, which I'm sure they will :)
It's healthy, that's for sure, and why I'm so excited about it...packed with good vitamins and nutrients, which equals guilt-free dessert! So, here it is {a slight variation of something I saw a lady suggest on the Dr. Oz show}...
Chocolate Dessert
1 avocado {for texture}
6 prunes {for sweetness}
6 Tbsp cocoa powder {for chocolate flavor!}
Puree all ingredients in food processor, serve immediately, and enjoy!
Like I said...unexpected, but if you're a true chocolate lover {like me!}, you won't be disappointed. Promise.
